Yoga, Meditation and more.
Welcome
Gaya Yoga is a gateway to being:
Stronger - physically and mentally by practicing asana and pranayama;
Lighter - emotionally by letting go of what no longer serves us;
Calmer - by bringing peace to our hearts;
More balanced - by connecting material and spiritual, and understanding that both are part of our everyday reality;
More focused - by directing our energy to bring forth our intentions;
More patient - with ourselves and others;
Harmonious - with the cycles of nature.

Gaya Yoga
by Gayane Ghazaryan
I’ve had a passion for yoga since I discovered it in my early twenties. It was the incredible mental focus and physical resilience of yogis that drew my attention. Then I got heavily interested in yoga philosophy and origins. However, I never thought that I am suitable for a yoga instructor (I had excuses like I am not flexible, I am not focused, I can't hold the hard poses, etc.). So it was a secret passion and interest of mine for 20 years before I had the courage to become a certified yoga instructor.

I was exhilarated (and relieved) to learn that yoga is not about flexibility and the ability to hold extremely hard poses. On the contrary, yoga is about finding yourself in the poses - meaning that yoga comes in different shapes and forms, and can be expressed uniquely by each of us. Hence, it is accessible to all levels of flexibility.

This is why I love teaching progressive routines that give participants an opportunity to learn the basics and build upon their strengths as they flow. It is endlessly rewarding to see the physical, mental, and emotional progress of my students. They help me to grow as a yoga instructor, too.
The world of yoga offers all of us a unique chance to connect with ourselves and express yoga our own way.
See you on the mat.
